Faith & Grace Christian Academy will launch in the fall of 2024. The academy will serve 6th - 9th grades and hold classes two days per week, Monday and Wednesday at the Christian Center church on Day avenue in La Pine. The remaining school work for the week (Tuesday and Friday morning) will be the responsibility of the parents to teach and the students to complete at home.

FGCA requires all students to use its curriculum. You can view the curriculum lists further down on this page. FGCA recognizes that many of its students will also register for the Thursday program at Oregon Family School, a charter school that shares the same church building with FGCA. Our weekly school schedule does not require any of our curriculum to be completed on Thursday. We also do not assign academy work for Friday afternoon as many of our students are also enrolled in Amazing Grace Homeschool Enrichment at High Lakes Christian Church. Fortunately, our curriculum is designed to be completed each week even allowing for these schedule exceptions. Parents should note that Tuesday is their most important school work day. Friday morning will only have math and Language arts assigned. FGCA teachers will create weekly curriculum assignments for parents. Parents no longer will have to do this. It is our purpose to make educating your students easier for you.

Schedule
Probable Fees & Tuition

The regular registration fee is nonrefundable. Tuition is due the first day of classes in each month. At the Christmas break, parents may drop enrollment without further tuition obligation. But if parents choose to remain in the program, the tuition is on a contract basis.

Curriculum

The academy will instruct in five academic subjects: Bible, Language Arts, Math, History, and Science. These subjects will be taught from a broadly evangelical Christian perspective; and the academy will respect and cherish traditional American values while always teaching the truth. The cost of the curriculum is approximately $300.00 per year for MS.
